Literally, not in a sexy times way. Zoe's Tale is written as a young-adult novel with a first-person teenage protagonist, but unlike a lot of young-adult novels, I loved the narrator. One was to tell Zoe's story as it ran parallel to the events in The Last Colony, and the other was to do his first YA novel. There's only one followup book, Zoe's Tale, and all it does is retell the events of The Last Colony from the perspective of Zoe. John Scalzi had a couple of things in mind when he wrote this book. The latest installment in the OMW universe, Zoe's Tale is quite a departure from the previous three books. His frustration, she hypothesised, probably.
